Zadovoljstvo z oskrbo otrok in staršev v času hospitalizacije

Uvod: Otroci bolezen doživljajo zelo različno in se ob sprejemu v bolnišnico soočajo s strahom. Hospitalizacija otroka predstavlja tudi za družino velik stres. S spremembo zakona o zdravstvenem varstvu in Zdravstvenem zavarovanju iz leta 2009 ima eden od staršev bolnega otroka do njegovega petega leta starosti pravico do sobivanja v bolnišnici. Zdravstveni delavci imajo veliko vlogo pri obravnavi bolnega otroka. Spodbujanje procesa partnerstva, v katerem so otroci in starši aktivno vključeni v zdravstveno obravnavo, zagotavlja zadovoljstvo vseh sodelujočih. Namen: Namen diplomskega dela je podrobneje izpostaviti pomen zadovoljstva staršev in otrok glede oskrbe v času hospitalizacije. Metode dela: V diplomskem delu je uporabljena deskriptivna metoda dela s pregledom domače in tuje znanstvene in strokovne literature, v nadaljevanju pa je z metodo primerjalne analize opravljena primerjava anket o zadovoljstvu staršev in otrok v obdobju 2014⸺2017. Rezultati: Rezultati primerjalne analize anketnih vprašalnikov so pokazali optimalno stopnjo zadovoljstva otrok in staršev v času hospitalizacije ter kakovostno in varno okolje. Razprava in sklep: Zadovoljstvo otrok in staršev je eden od ključnih kazalnikov, ki vpliva tako na uspešnost zdravljenja kot ugled zdravstvene ustanove. Izkazano zadovoljstvo otrok in staršev je povezano z njihovimi pridobljenimi izkušnjami in pričakovanji. Zato je pomembno pridobivanje in ohranjanje zaupanja staršev in otrok ter vzpostavljanje partnerskega odnosa. Pediatrični oddelek Splošne bolnišnice Novo mesto zagotavlja kakovostno obravnavo in skrb ter varno okolje za bolnega otroka in njihove starše. Organizacija dela na oddelku zagotavlja humanizacijo hospitalizacije (odprta bolnišnica, sobivanje staršev, kratka ležalna doba, prisotnost vzgojiteljice in učiteljice, igralnica, sodelovanje z zunanjim okoljem).

Izvleček

Introduction: Children experience illness in variety of ways and fear while admitted in the hospital. Hospitalization of a child is also a stress factor to the family. By amending the Law on Health Care and Insurance from 2009, one of the parents of a sick child, until the age of five, has the right of cohabiting in a hospital. Health care workers play a major role not just in treating sick children but also in promoting a partnership relationship in hospital care, in which children and parents are actively involved in health treatment. This tipe of relationship ensures the satisfaction of all participants. Purpose: The purpose of this diploma work is to highlight the importance of satisfaction of parents and children regarding the care that they are provided during hospitalization. Methods: In the diploma work the descriptive method of work with a review of domestic and foreign scientific and techical literature was used. In the following, the comparative analysis method was used to compare the survey on parent and child satisfaction in the period from 2014 to 2017. Results: The results of he comparative analysis showed an optimal level of satisfaction of children and parents during hospitalization. Also the environment, the hospital, provided them comfort and the feeling of security. Discussion and conclusion: The satisfaction of children and parents is one of the key indicators that affects both the success of the treatment and the reputation of a health institution. Also, the satisfaction is related to their acquired experience and expectations. It is therefore important to obtain and maintain the trust and to establish a partnership relationship in health care. The Pediatric Department of the General Hospital Novo mesto provides quality treatment, care and a safe environment for the sick children and their parents. The organization of work in the department ensures humanization of pediatric care (open hospital, cohabitation of parents, a short lying period, the presence of a teacher, play ground, colaboration with outside environment etc.).
