The thesis discusses the operations of the condensing machine for drying laundry. The operations of the condensing dryer, which is based on electrical heating of the process air, are simple, but not energy-efficient. The purpose of the thesis is therefore to perform measures, which would contribute to energy-efficiency of the dryer. We carried out and analysed six measures to reduce the energy consumption of the dryer. We compared the data from individual measures with a referential measurement. After the data analysis, we found that individual measures influence the operations of the dryer, which means that the results have satisfied the expectations.
