Abstract
V magistrskem delu je predmet obravnave recepcija antične književnosti pri pouku književnosti v gimnaziji. Delo prikazuje, v kolikšni meri je antična književnost vključena v posodobljen učni načrt za slovenščino v gimnaziji (2008) in v učna sredstva, namenjena poučevanju in učenju književnosti v gimnaziji. V delu je predstavljen tudi kritičen pogled na odmeve antične književnosti v kasnejši svetovni in slovenski književnosti v berilih za gimnazijo, kjer sta analizirani tudi informacijska in didaktična vrednost učnih sredstev (Žbogar, 2000). V drugem delu magistrskega dela so prikazani rezultati znanja dijakov o antični književnosti in njihova recepcija antične književnosti in kasnejše svetovne ter slovenske književnosti, v kateri najdemo antične motive. Delo vsebuje empirično in interpretativno analizo anketnih vprašalnikov za dijake. Predmeti obravnave v delu so tudi mnenje in odnos dijakov do antične književnosti ter mnenje in odnos do metod poučevanja in učenja antične književnosti v gimnaziji.

Abstract:
The purpose of this thesis is to research reception of ancient literature in the literature lessons in the gymnasium. Thesis illustrates to what extent is ancient literature included in the updated curriculum for Slovenian in gymnasium (2008) and in the teaching materials intended for learning and teaching literature in gymnasium. The paper also presents a critical view of the influences of ancient literature in the later world and Slovenian literature in gymnasium, where are also analysed the information and didactic value of educational materials (Žbogar, 2000). In the second part of the thesis are shown results of student knowledge about ancient literature and their competence of reading reception of ancient literature and later world and Slovenian literature with ancient motifs. The task contains empirical and interpretative analysis of survey questionnaire for students. The purpose of the thesis are students view and relation to the ancient literature, as well as view and relation to the different methods of teaching and learning the ancient literature in the gymnasium.
