In this diploma thesis, we deal with issues about cold start-ups of larger steam power plants. Due to a great mass of the power plant and consequently greater thermal perseverance cold start-ups must be executed explicitly by certain standardized procedures. In considered case start-up steam is produced with HRSG which is attached to the gas turbine. In written assignment, we introduced measurement methods with procedures defining how to carry out the takeover measurements. We also analysed measured quantities of mass and energy currents on the edge of HRSG system and compared them with numerically computed quantities. The outcome of measurements matches with the results of numerical model which validates guarantee-contract of technological start-up steam parameters.
