Abstract
V okviru naloge smo identificirali škodljive produkte, ki nastajajo pri 3D tiskanju s ciljnim nalaganjem. Ti škodljivi produkti so nanodelci in hlapne organske spojine. Izdelali smo komoro, v katero smo postavili 3D tiskalnik in vanjo vgradili sistem za filtriranje zraka. Za filtriranje delcev smo uporabili visoko učinkovit filter delcev – filter HEPA, za filtriranje hlapnih organskih spojin pa filter z aktivnim ogljem. Komora tudi dobro zvočno izolira tiskalnik od okolice in omogoča enostaven dostop do tiskalnika.

Title:FDM printing and health protection
Abstract:
In this work, harmful products that are produced during the FDM printing are identified, namely ultrafine particles and hazardous volatile organic compounds. Based on that, a filtering system is defined comprised of HEPA filters used to filter out ultrafine particles and filters with active carbon to filter out hazardous volatile organic compounds. A chamber for the printer is constructed that has implemented both filters and ventilator. Additionally, it acoustically isolates the printer from the environment and it enables easy access to the printer.
