Microtooling is of great importance for microproduction. For mass production, quality and precision of tools made for this purpose is crucial. Correct choice of materials enables great mechanical properties and dimensions of less than 1 mm. In this work we present production chain for producing micromixer using non conventional technologies. Production chain consists of the following technologies and procedures: cutting with water jet (WJ) and abrasive water jet (AWJ), die-sinking electrical discharge machining (EDM) and casting of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS). The main source of dimension deviation is cutting with WJ. AWJ leaves less imperfections, but the cut is much wider. We were satisfied with the precision for our selected geometry, but it can be improved greatly.
