The thesis describes the history of augmented reality, development and description of devices in this field and a description of the better-known software tools for the production of augmented reality. Compared programs are Layar, Aurasma, Augment and ZapWorks. For each program there is a short description about offered applications and their user interfaces, license types and fields of use. The comparison of used programs is focused on their price, license, applications (web, mobile, desktop), for which platforms it is intended, the use of multimedia and options of display. In my thesis I present and create a business card using Layar program. The product contains buttons for call, send an e-mail, a link to their web page and a gallery of their products.
