ANALIZA MODELA USTVARJALNEGA DELOVNEGA OKOLJA V IZBRANEM PODJETJU

Abstract
Diplomsko delo obravnava tematiko kreativnega delovnega okolja in ključnih dejavnikov za njegovo vzpostavitev in delovanje. Delo povzema različne tehnike in rešitve glede na posamezne vidike kreativnega delovnega okolja, ki jih uporablja eno izmed najbolj kreativnih podjetij na svetu - podjetje IDEO, ter jih predstavlja z namenom spodbujanja kreativnosti naklonjenih delovnih okolij v podjetjih. Raziskovalni pristop v uvodnem delu z uporabo analize primerov potrjuje prednosti spodbujanja kreativnosti in inovativnosti. V drugem delu, ki postavlja teoretični okvir modela kreativnega delovnega okolja, sta opisana analiza obstoječih modelov in njihova nadgradnja, v tretjem delu pa analiza in predstavitev konkretnih rešitev za spodbujanje kreativnega delovnega okolja v podjetju IDEO. V sklepnem delu je predstavljena metoda sinteze pridobljenega znanja v smernice, ki jih lahko za razvoj modela uporabijo tudi druga podjetja. Ključna ugotovitev dela je, da sposobnost ustvarjanja kreativnih idej predstavljata konkurenčnost in uspešnost podjetja ter da je za vzpostavitev delovnega okolja, ki spodbuja nastanek kreativnih idej, odgovoren predvsem vrhnji menedžment. Druga pomembna ugotovitev je, da ustvarjalno delovno okolje pozitivno vpliva na razpoloženje v podjetju in odnose med zaposlenimi. Diplomsko delo nadgrajuje in dopolnjuje obstoječ teoretični okvir modela kreativnega delovnega okolja z vidikoma tehnik iskanja kreativnih rešitev ter zasnovo delovnega prostora, ki dodano spodbujata nastanek in številčnost novoustvarjenih kreativnih idej v podjetju. Diplomsko delo s svojimi zaključki potrjuje nujnost zavedanja, da sposobnost ustvarjanja kreativnih idej za podjetja lahko pomeni konkurenčno prednost v prihodnosti ter s konkretnimi primeri in predlogi nakazuje smernice za razvoj okolja v tistih podjetjih, ki želijo to sposobnost še povečati.

Title:CREATIVE WORK ENVIRONMENT - KEY FACTORS CASE STUDY: IDEO
Abstract:
Work focuses on analysis of a creative work environment model and its key aspects. More specifically, the work outlines various techniques and approaches used by the company IDEO, aiming to guide and promote establishment of creative working environments in other companies. First part of the work includes case analysis in order to present the advantages of promoting creativity and innovation in enterprises. Second part analyses current conceptual model of creative environments and proposes its extension with two additional aspects. Final part of the work presents analysis of IDEO’s approach to establishing creative work environment, which can be followed by the other companies. Key finding of the work is that the ability to generate creative ideas presents a foundation on which companies can build their competitive advantages and success. However, the findings additionally suggest that such ability can only be developed with strong support from the company’s management. The work also concludes that the creative work environment positively affects the working relationships between the employees and improve general mood in the company. The work complements current theoretical framework of the creative work environment model with additional aspects: creativity techniques and workplace design, which both can additionally promote generation of new creative ideas in a company. The work concludes that ability to generate creative ideas often leads to creation of competitive advantages and raises awareness about the importance of establishing a creative work environment. Additionally the work outlines concrete examples and suggestions for companies trying to establish or improve their creative work environments.
