In Pohištvo Brežice d.d. factory, a member of the Novoles group, the time lost due to monitoring of production under the existing system of production monitoring was analysed and compared to the time potentially saved by a new system introduction. The work order distribution, scheduling and planning were studied and a theoretical description of problems faced in distribution of work orderes prepared. The existing system of production monitoring was described and analysed, and a proposal for a new one prepared. If introduced, the proposed new system will be quite uncomplicated in respect to the data entry, and will provide much better data transparency in the feedback information control. A proposal for a detailed planning of key work-posts, relocation of individual operations, and monitoring of the same after the finished work were also prepared.
