Abstract
Magistrska naloga temelji na opravljeni raziskavi med naročniki verskega tiska založb Celjska Mohorjeva družba in Ognjišče. Rezultate raziskave smo primerjali z raziskavo Knjiga in bralci V, ki je bila izvedena leta 2014. V našo raziskavo je bilo vključenih 181 udeležencev. Uporabljena metoda je bil anketni vprašalnik. Opravili smo tudi intervju z odgovornima osebama obeh založb; na podlagi teh dveh pogovorov smo predstavili njihove založniške usmeritve in načrte, na kratko pa smo opisali še zgodovino obeh založb. V primerjavi z raziskavo Knjiga in bralci V smo posebej izpostavili naslednja področja: razlike bralnih navad med spoloma, vpliv izobrazbe na branje in kupovanje knjig, izkazan interes za branje elektronskih knjig, najpogostejša prodajna pot knjig ter stanje domače knjižnice. Ugotovili smo podobnost med populacijo vseslovenske raziskave in vzorcem v naši raziskavi, opazili pa smo tudi nekatere specifične razlike. Ker založbi do sedaj nista imeli opravljenih nobenih natančnejših tovrstnih raziskav, smo se z magistrsko nalogo podali na relativno novo področje. Rezultati raziskave bodo lahko koristni napotki za obe založbi.

Title:Reading and reading-buying habits od religious press subscribers
Abstract:
The master's thesis is based on a survey conducted among the subscribers of the religious publishing houses Celjska Mohorjeva družba and Ognjišče. The results of the survey that included 181 participants were compared with the survey Knjiga in bralci V (Book and readers V), which was conducted in 2014. We also interviewed the executives of both publishing houses. Based on these two interviews we outlined publishing policies of both houses and briefly described their history. In comparison with the research Knjiga in bralci V, we particularly focused on the following areas: differences in reading habits between the sexes, the impact of education on reading and buying books, demonstrated interest on reading in electronic format, the most common sales channel for books and size of a home library. A significant similarity between the population of the nationwide research and sample in our study was identified; however, some specific differences were noticed as well. Since the publishing houses have not carried out any specific reading researches until now, the master's thesis presents a relatively new field. The results of the research will be useful information for both publishers.
