Abstract
Težave na področju grafomotorike in motnje pozornosti se pogosto sopojavljajo. Pri otrocih z motnjo pozornosti so pogosto prepoznane določene težave v motoriki in pri pisanju. Napredek otroka in njegovo delovanje sem spremljala z različnimi neformalnimi preizkušnjami in ga ovrednotila s formalnim preizkusom (Token test).

Title:The impact of lack of attention to graphomotoric skills of a preschool child
Abstract:
Problems on field of graphomotoric skills and attention disorders are interconnected. With children, who has some form of attention disorder, we can often see some form of troubles in motoric skills and hand writing. On our ground, experts have not really research the correlation between attention disorders and lack of graphomotoric skills. That is why I decided to research how those two fields have been connected and in research of different kinds of help and support on this two fields. In theoretical part, I have summarized findings by different authors about general development of preschool child, development of attention and graphomotoric skills in preschool child and what problems with attention and graphomotoric skills, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and dysgraphia. In empiric part, I have made case study of five-year-old boy with signs of attention disorder and dysgraphia, with I have made intensive program with a purpose to stimulate development of careful listening, graphomotoric and overall attention. In all of these fields, I have evaluated that this specific child needs some help. I have evaluated his progress and development with some informal testing and assessed it with a formal test (Token test). Child’s effectiveness has been varying and has depended on his feeling, but the progress has been mostly seen in attention field. In conclusion, I have presented pros and cons of the program, which I have been performing with a child.
