The hydraulic model of a real water distribution system is a powerful tool which helps us understand, simulate and predict unknown parameters based on actual conditions. In the thesis, we presented a practical example of macro calibration procedure, which consists of analysing model calculations, finding errors and adjusting unknown parameters, with the aim of achieving a match between measured and computed hydraulic parameters. After achieving an improved hydraulic model, we also performed estimation of water losses based on minimum night flow calculations.
