This graduation thesis deals with issue of costs for individual building owners in relation with connection to the public sewerage system, i.e. construction of individual sewerage connection. On the basis of selected project examples of public sewerage systems in smaller villages, first part of thesis is dedicated to different kinds of sewerage connections, where the most important aspect is length of the sewerage connection.
Hereinafter individual (house) connections are evaluated according to selected length groups on the basis of inventory works and pre-measurements. First part of the thesis concludes with comparison of comprehensive cost value of building of public sewerage network with regards of costs of such network for municipality on one hand and costs for owners of individual buildings on the other.
Second part of the thesis deals with the issue of increasing costs of individual (house) sewerage connections for individual building owners, depending on terrain endowments (type of soil, the size of the depth of excavation).
The last part of thesis addresses reducing of costs for citizens in cases where due to terrain endowments costs for building of individual (home) sewerage connection is too high.
In conclusion I try to display possible solutions and good practices of some municipalities, which try to ensure most even distribution of costs between different building owners, who are interested in connecting their buildings to public sewerage system in one municipality.
