The diploma describes patriotism in general and how it is understood by kindergarten teachers and parents.
The theoretical part contains an explanation of patriotism characteristics, its positive and negative aspects, how it is encouraged and how it devoleped in Slovenia. In this segment are also values, their importance, how they were expliened in history, how they are divided and how are they connected with patriotism.
The empirical segment contains the results of kindergarten teachers and parents opinions about understanding of the term patriotism, which values they think are important in education, which holidays they celebrate in kindergarten or at home and if it would be allright to learn about militery profession in kindergarten and how would it be done.
