The theme of graduation thesis regarded two basic sections. The first chapter concerns about the organization of the parking lots with a higher level of amenities (»greening« surface parking lot), the second chapter refers to the comparison of Slovenian policy about road access to the public roads with the policies applied abroad.
The first chapter regarded the field of parking lot arrangements with a higher level of services, based on the guidelines which are applied in Canada. Findings obtained with the analysis and additional consideration of boundary conditions from Slovenian standards, are applied at a practical example. The findings are also illustrated with graphic attachments.
The second chapter summarize and analyse existing documentation for the design of road access to the public roads, in use in the area of Slovenia, England and the USA. Main areas of this chapter is the comparison of visibility requirements and design solutions for vehicular access to public roads. The findings are introduced on a practical example and presented in graphical annexes.
