Abstract
Diplomska naloga opisuje izdelavo aplikativne programske opreme (APO) sistema meritve nivoja in temperature vode jezu Ajba, na programirljivem logičnem krmilniku (PLK) s poudarkom na Modbus komunikaciji, ki je del sistema vodenja hidroelektrarne. Nov vgrajen sistem meritve nivoja in temperature vode je izboljšava obstoječega sistema na jezu Ajba, ki leži na reki Soči. Ker se tehnologija danes zelo hitro razvija, je prenova dobrodošla v marsikaterem podjetju, ki uporablja starejše sisteme. Sistem, ki je bil do sedaj vgrajen na jezu Ajba, je že zastarel, danes pa rezervni deli niso dobavljivi, in zato v primeru okvare katerega koli elementa nastanejo težave s popravilom in z vzdrževanjem. Operaterski panel, ki je ravno tako opisan v diplomski nalogi, pa skrbi za pregled in nastavljanje parametrov sistema. Potrebno je poudariti, da z novim programirljivim krmiljenjem omogočimo sistemu večji nadzor, predvsem pa to, da lahko spremljamo dogajanje v veliki meri preko operaterskega panela ter izvajamo določene funkcije tudi na daljavo, preko komunikacijskega omrežja. Pri tem je zmožnost generiranja alarmov in signalizacije ena izmed pomembnejših lastnosti sistema, saj imamo na ta način dober pregled nad dogajanjem. Nadzor omogočajo vizualni alarmi, ki ob napaki vidno prikažejo spremembo stanja. Strojno opremo za vzpostavitev takega sistema sestavljajo operaterski panel, senzor in modularni krmilnik, ki je sestavljen iz napajalnika, CPU, vhodno-izhodne enote itd. Ti moduli so povezani preko komunikacijskega vodila, in tako lahko med seboj komunicirajo. V diplomski nalogi sta uporabljena krmilnik VIPA 313 5BF03 in operaterski panel Advantech Wop 2040T z zaslonom na dotik, kot senzor pa sta uporabljeni dve sondi proizvajalca V-elin, in sicer za merjenje višine in temperature spodnjega in zgornjega nivoja vode na jezu Ajba, ki je del hidroelektrarne HE Plave. Začetni del opisuje Modbus komunikacijo, nato sledi opis samega krmilnika, sonde, operaterskega panela, jezu Ajba in HE Plave. V zadnjem delu je še primer algoritma programa v orodju SIMATIC STEP 7 V5.5 Profesional za programiranje krmilnika in primer s programskim orodjem WebOP Designer 2.0 za nastavljanje operaterskega panela.

Title:Measuring level and temperature in a water reservoir of a hydropower plant
Abstract:
This thesis describes the development of applicative software system (ASS) for water level and temperature measurement of Ajba dam with programmable logical controller (PLC), being the latter a part of hydropower plant management, emphasizing the communication using a Modbus protocol. Newly installed level and temperature measurement system is an improvement of the existing one installed in the Ajba dam on river Soča. The old system in the Ajba dam was already outdated so the acquisition of spare parts constitute a problem during repairs and maintenance. Operator panel, also a part of ASS, takes care of system overview and parameters’ setting. It is important to emphasize that with the new programmable device we get more control over the system and furthermore the operation panel allows us to control the system remotely trough the communications network. One of the most important elements of the system is the warning capability. Visual alarms allow a good overview and show the state of change with every failure/error. Hardware for the installation of the ASS consists of an operation panel, a sensor and a modular controller (power supply, CPU and input-output unit). Modules are connected trough communication BUS. In this thesis VIPA 313 5BF03 controller, Advantech Wop 2040T operator panel and two hydrostatic probes sensors for measuring water levels and water temperature (V-eline) on the Ajba lake, as a part of HE Plave hydropower plant, were used. The initial part of the thesis defines the Modbus communications, followed by descriptions of the controller, probes, operation panel, Ajba dam and the HE Plave. The second part of the thesis describes examples of algorithms for programming the controller (written in SIMATIC STEP 7 V5.5 Professional), and operator panel (written in WebOP Designer 2.0), are presented.
