The purpose of the research was to analyse the success of a visually impaired preschool girl in three areas of the curriculum, namely language, mathematics and movement.
Her success was assessed with a specifically designed test. It covered three areas, each of them divided into five sections. A total of 15 children and the visually impaired girl named Klara were tested. Other children had no disorders.
After comparing Klara's results with the results of other children, the findings show that her motor abilities are significantly different. She performed best in the area of language and struggled more with movement and mathematics.
Klara's results are not statistically significantly different from those of her peers. However, more attention should be devoted to movement with professional assistance.
