The thesis entitled Reading literacy of preschool teachers consists of the theoretical and empirical part.
In the theoretical part I discussed literacy, listed some literacy types, mentioned literacy in adults and focused on reading literacy and reading as such.
In the empirical part I focused on the research of reading literacy of preschool teachers. With the help of an article and questionnaire I analyzed how preschool teachers understood the article and how well they can search the article for information, requested in the questionnaire.
The thesis concludes with findings, where I provide suggestions for an improvement of the current situation in the field of reading literacy of teachers and guidelines for further research.
