In this graduation thesis I analyzed, by using VELUX Daylight Visualizer software, how shape of space and shape of window influence on daylight illuminance, by considering minimal requirements of rule books and standards discussing daylight illuminance. I checked what affects have different parameters on illuminance of space. The concerned parameters are reflectivity of interior surfaces, glazing type and space orientation. Spaces have to assure minimal prescribed illuminace which I checked in thesis. Because amount of iluminance impact on psychophysiological effects, I checked if this spaces assure enough illuminance for induce this effects. I came to conclusion that there is not enough daylight illuminance in space except in case of sunny sky and that least suitable space is long and narrow space with window on shorter side. Important conclusion of this thesis is that daylight illuminance of spaces is too small.
