The first part of diploma is theoretical and is discussing the general planning in construction business, the planning of a project and the factors which have influence on productivity in construction business. The second part of diploma is based on practical work and is containing analyses of working hours spent on a real construction site. These analyses are including three calculations of expected working hours spent. These three are: 1. precalculation, which is based on GNG (constructional norms) and contractional list of work to do 2. calculation, which is based on GNG (constructional norms) and contractional list of work that will actually be done 3. postcalculation, which is based on GNG (constructional norms) and the list of work that was actually done In my diploma I compared these three calculations with the actual number of working hours spent and I tried to find out the reasons for difference between planned number of working hours and the actual number of working hours spent on the specific construction site.
