We inspected 24 shepherd's buildings at Robe near Kranjska Gora and selected 7 of them containing wooden constructions appropriate for dendrochronological research. We collected archived information on these buildings and their use, described their wooden constructions, identified timber species, and made dendrochronological analyses. The constructions were made of spruce (Picea abies) and larch (Larix decidua) timber. We dated the Vidkave Robe object to the year of 1823. The Kravenjave Robe stable was most probably built at the end of the 18th or at the beginning of the 19th century, and was renovated around 1875, as indicated by the inscription carved in the wood. For the Črnetave Ravence stable we found out that it was renovated in 1975. The dating of the Kalesljnave Robe stable is 1858. The Dalencave Robe stable was probably built at the beginning of the 19th century and thoroughly renovated after 1894. The Anžkave Robe hut contains wood dated 1811. Since the hut is not indicated on the map from the year 1826, we assume that the wood originated from an older object, and was reused in this building. The Anžkave Robe stable was dated in the year 1832. The researched stables and the hut are variously preserved and some of them are now used for other purposes than in the past.
