Učinki vadbe na ravnotežje pri osebi s Parkinsonovo boleznijo

Abstract
Parkinsonova bolezen je kronična nevrološka motnja, ki pomemb¬no vpliva na ravnotežje in druge gibalne sposobnosti posame¬znika. Med pogostejše motorične simptome uvrščamo tresavico (tremor), mišično togost (rigidnost), bradikinezijo ter motnje rav¬notežja in hoje, med nemotorične simptome pa spadajo motnje spanja, depresija, kognitivne težave in halucinacije. Glavni namen raziskave je bil ugotoviti učinek štiritedenskega kinezioterapevtskega programa vadbe na izboljšanje ravnotežja pri osebi s Par¬kinsonovo boleznijo. Program je bil zasnovan s poudarkom na vajah za krepitev mišic spodnjih okončin in stabilizatorjev trupa, na statičnih in dinamičnih ravnotežnih vajah ter razteznih vajah. Za preverjanje učinkov vadbenega programa smo uporabili teste za oceno statičnega in dinamičnega ravnotežja ter vprašalnik za oceno stopnje/merjenje? zaupanja posameznikov v izogibanje padcem pri različnih vsakodnevnih aktivnostih. Rezultati so poka¬zali izboljšanje statičnega in dinamičnega ravnotežja, medtem ko se občutka samozavesti pri opravljanju vsakdanjih opravil in strahu pred padci nista občutneje spremenili. Razlog za to bi lahko bilo krajše obdobje kinezioterapevtske obravnave osebe s Parkinsono¬vo boleznijo, saj je obsegalo le štiri tedne, kar je omejilo možnost za opazovanje dolgoročnih učinkov vadbe. Izsledki raziskave so dragoceni za osebe s Parkinsonovo boleznijo, kineziologe in druge zdravstvene delavce, ki želijo s svojim strokovnim znanjem in iz¬kušnjami izboljšati kakovost življenja posameznikov s to boleznijo.

Title:Effects of exercise on balance in a person with Parkinson’s disease
Abstract:
Parkinson‘s disease is a chronic neurological disorder that significantly affects an individual‘s balance and other motor abilities. Common motor symptoms include tremors, rigidity, bradykinesia, and balance and gait disturbances, while non-motor symptoms include sleep disorders, depression, cognitive impairments, and hallucinations. The main aim of the study was to examine the effects of a four-week kinesiotherapy exercise program on improving balance in a person with Parkinson‘s disease. The program was designed with a focus on exercises to strengthen the muscles of the lower limbs and trunk stabilizers, as well as static and dynamic balance exercises and stretching. To assess the effects of the exercise program, we used tests for evaluating static and dynamic balance, as well as a questionnaire measuring individuals‘ confidence in avoiding falls during various daily activities. The results showed an improvement in both static and dynamic balance, while confidence in performing daily tasks and fear of falling did not change significantly. This may be due to the short duration of the kinesiotherapy intervention, as the person with Parkinson‘s disease participated in the study for only four weeks, limiting the ability to observe long-term effects. The study‘s findings are valuable for individuals with Parkinson‘s disease, kinesiologists and other healthcare professionals seeking to use their expertise to improve the quality of life for those living with the condition.
