Abstract
Podatkovni sklop vsebuje raziskovalne podatke, povezane z znanstvenim člankom Biochemical and Volatile Compound Variation in Apple (Malus domestica) Cultivars According to Fruit Size: Implications for Quality and Breeding. Vključuje podatke o fizikalnih parametrih plodov, fenolnih spojinah, antocianinih, sladkorjih, organskih kislinah ter hlapnih organskih spojinah (VOC) v kožici in mesu plodov različnih sort jabolk glede na velikost plodov. Podatki vključujejo surove kromatografske površine vrhov, HPLC-MS analize, GC-MS analize, preračune koncentracij, TAPC, sladkosti indeks, razmerje sladkorji/kisline ter končne pregledne tabele, uporabljene v znanstveni objavi. Raziskava je bila izvedena na plodovih iz intenzivnega sadovnjaka v Zdolah v Sloveniji, laboratorijske analize pa so bile izvedene na Biotehniški fakulteti Univerze v Ljubljani. Podatki so organizirani v Excel datotekah.

Abstract:
The dataset contains research data associated with the scientific article Biochemical and Volatile Compound Variation in Apple (Malus domestica) Cultivars According to Fruit Size: Implications for Quality and Breeding. It includes data on physical fruit parameters, phenolic compounds, anthocyanins, sugars, organic acids, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in apple peel and flesh of different apple cultivars according to fruit size. The dataset contains raw chromatographic peak areas, HPLC-MS analyses, GC-MS analyses, concentration calculations, TAPC, sweetness index, sugar/acid ratio, and final summary tables used in the scientific publication. The study was conducted using fruits collected from an intensive orchard in Zdole, Slovenia, while laboratory analyses were performed at the Biotechnical Faculty, University of Ljubljana. The data are organized into Excel files.
