Das Verhältnis von Individuum und Familie in der Zimmerischen Chronik und im Fortunatus (1509)

Eine zentrale Rolle spielt die Thematik der Familie unter anderem in zwei Werken des 16. Jahrhunderts: der Zimmerischen Chronik und dem Fortunatus. Die Analyse konzentriert sich auf die Bedeutung von Individuum und Familie sowie auf deren Verhältnis im Spannungsfeld zwischen Identitätsfindung durch Genealogie und Tradition einerseits und Individualisierung andererseits – unter Berücksichtigung der unterschiedlichen Gattungszugehörigkeit der Texte und des sozialen Standes der Protagonisten.

Abstract

The theme of family plays a key role in the Zimmern Chronicle and Fortunatus. This article examines the significance of the individual and the family, as well as their relationship within the tension between identity formation through genealogy and tradition on the one hand, and individualisation on the other, while also taking into account the different genre affiliations of the texts and the status of their protagonists.
