The employment of foreigners from asian countries plays an important role in the Slovenian economy, especially in industries where there is a shortage of local workers. In recent years, we have witnessed a shortage of domestic labor and an increasing employment of foreigners. Staffing gaps are often filled by workers from countries such as India, the Philippines, Nepal and Bangladesh. They migrate to Slovenia in pursuit of better economic and social living conditions. The task deals with the employment of foreign labor from asian countries and the challenges they face in integrating into the Slovenian labor market. The subject of the research is the analysis of obstacles that affect the integration of asian workers into Slovenian work environment. It seeks answers to the questions of why workers from asian countries decide to seek a new life in Slovenia. The task describes the factors that cause people to migrate, the labor market in Slovenia and its legislation, and the shortage of labor and personnel. Integration policy is also described. The goal of the task is to determine which factors shape the position of foreign labor and to what extent current legislation enables their effective integration.
