Jezikovnostilistična analiza slovenskega prevoda serije Avatarja: zadnjega gospodarja vetra : diplomsko delo

V diplomskem delu jezikovnostilistično analiziram epizodo sinhronizirane serije Avatar: Zadnji gospodar vetra. V prvem delu naloge obravnavam področje stilistike, definicijo stila in navajam, katere značilnosti jezika so lahko stilsko zaznamovane. Podrobneje predstavim model Jožeta Toporišiča in model avtorjev Leecha in Shorta za jezikovnostilistično analizo. Nato ta dva modela uporabim za analizo jezika serije Avatar: zadnji gospodar vetra, da ugotovim in opišem splošne jezikovnostilistične značilnosti serije.

• Title: Analysis of Linguistic Style of the Slovenian Translation of the Series Avatar: The Last Airbender

Abstract

This thesis examines the linguistic style of an episode of the dubbed series Avatar: The Last Airbender. The first part of the thesis focuses on stylistics, providing a definition of style and outlining the characteristics of language that may carry stylistic markers. In greater detail, the thesis presents Jože Toporišič’s model and the model developed by Leech and Short for linguistic-stylistic analysis. These two models are then applied to the language of the series to identify and describe its general linguistic-stylistic features.
