Abstract
Najprej podam vpliv za nastanek dela Vladimirja Bartola, njegovo recepcijo, prevode in medliterarno povezovanje, nato pregled historičnega delovanja in obstoja Učiteljev.

Title:The Influence of Bartol's Alamut on Video Game Assassin's Creed and Oliver Bowden’s Eponymous Novel Series
Abstract:
In my analysis of the influence of Bartol’s novel Alamut on world literature, I will focus on the works of the Assassin’s Creed genre novels, the literary collections of American authors Anton Gill and Andrew Holmes, who wrote under the pseudonym of Oliver Bowden. The novels were created after the computer game of the same name, which was inspired by the Slovenian novel. First, I will provide an overview of the influence on the creation of Vladimir Bartol’s work, its reception, translations, and interliterary connections, then the historical actions and existence of the Masters. In the central part, I analyze the more direct influence of Alamut on the creation of the computer game Assassin’s Creed and then its subsequent influence on the content of Oliver Bowden’s novel The Secret Crusade, paying attention to how the content and stylistic features of Bartol’s novel were preserved or lost in the process.
