Abstract
V diplomskem delu smo preučevali proces izdelave fotografske serije ‚Luči vsej sanj‘, s pomočjo tehnike cianotipije, ter njene reprodukcije v fotografski zin in razstavo. Preučevali smo proces postopka cianotipije, pomen in zgodovino zina. V eksperimentalnem delu smo prikazali naš proces izdelovanja cianotipij, določitev idealnega papirja in svetlobe, preloma zina in razstave.

Title:Execution of photo series with cyanotype technique
Abstract:
The thesis examined the entire process of creating the photographic series ‚The Lights of All Dreams‘ using the cyanotype technique, as well as its reproduction in a photographic zine and exhibition. Cyanotype is an old photographic development technique, so we aimed to assess its relevance in contemporary design processes and media. We were interested in whether comparable or identical results could be achieved in a home environment using everyday tools. Additionally, we wanted to explore how cyanotype behaves in a digital medium and how its appearance changes from optical capture to reprinting as a photo zine or enlargement for a photographic exhibition. Our goal was to demonstrate that cyanotypes can be created in a non-professional environment with basic equipment and to show that anyone can use this technique to achieve good and satisfying results. Furthermore, we sought to reproduce digitized prints in a photographic exhibition and zine, while examining how the appearance of cyanotypes changes during the enlargement and printing process. We studied the cyanotype technique, the meaning and history of zines, and, in the experimental section, documented our process of creating cyanotypes, determining the ideal paper and lighting conditions, and designing the zine and exhibition. The research results confirm that high-quality cyanotypes can be produced using digitally printed negatives, digitized, and represented with minimal impact on their appearance. Additionally, they can be reproduced as enlargements without significantly affecting the reproduction quality.
