Abstract
V diplomski nalogi je bila obravnavana detekcija stopenj sušenja pri procesu liofilizacije v viali na nivoju laboratorijskega testiranja. Z uporabo merilnika gostote toplotnega toka je bilo mogoče v realnem času spremljati prehode med posameznimi fazami sušenja in natančno določiti njihov konec. Rezultati so pokazali, da ustrezna detekcija konca posamezne faze sušenja omogoča skrajšanje celotnega sušilnega cikla za približno 10 ur in posledično prihranek energije do 34 % glede na celoten cikel, brez negativnega vpliva na kakovost končnega izdelka. Poleg tega raziskava potrjuje, da je laboratorijsko testiranje pomembno za razvoj in optimizacijo procesnih parametrov, ki jih je možno kasneje prenesti tudi na industrijski nivo.

Title:Detection of drying stages during lyophilization in a vial at the laboratory scale
Abstract:
In the diploma thesis, the detection of drying stages in the lyophilization process in a vial at the laboratory testing level was studied. Using a heat flux meter, it was possible to monitor the transitions between individual drying phases in real time and accurately determine their end. The results showed that appropriate detection of the end of each drying phase enables a reduction of the total drying cycle by approximately 10 hours and consequently an energy saving of up to 34 % over the entire cycle, without any negative impact on the quality of the final product. In addition, the research confirms that laboratory testing is important for the development and optimization of process parameters, which can later be transferred to the industrial level.
