Abstract
Foodborne diseases cause negative effects on the society, health sector and economy on the global scale. A key weakness in ensuring food safety is the aspect of consumers’ food safety at home, where due to inadequate knowledge, attitudes and food handling practices a significant part of foodborne illnesses occur.
