Practical training in higher education enables students to gain new experiences, knowledge, skills, and competencies. Other stakeholders are also involved: internal mentors, external mentors, faculty administration, and external organizations. The master's thesis aims to evaluate practical training in undergraduate study programs of the Faculty of Social Sciences (FDV) and identify improvement opportunities. In the theoretical part, we review the evaluation models used in education, the importance of practical training, and the standards and guidelines used in higher education. Then, we discuss stakeholders, their roles, and tasks in more detail in practical training at the FDV. In the empirical part, we conduct a comparative evaluation of practical training in five undergraduate programs of the FDV that include study practice. In doing so, we limited ourselves to semi-structured interviews with the providers of the relevant course. Within this framework, we identified characteristics of similarities, differences, problems of stakeholders, and opportunities for improvement. The findings show that in the academic year 2023/24, the satisfaction of all stakeholders was relatively high, with slightly lower satisfaction only among students in finding organizations that offer practical training. Opportunities for improvement in future academic years were identified, such as additional student surveys before and after the internship, and establishing communication between the providers of internship courses of FDV, which would enable the sharing of good practices.
