Študentski prevodi kot način spoznavanja jezika, literature in kulture

Prispevek se ukvarja z vplivom študentskega prevajanja na učenje slovenščine kot tujega jezika in spoznavanje slovenske kulture in literature. Obravnavane so izbrane osebne izkušnje s prevajanjem iz slovenščine v češčino. Omenjeni so prevodi poezije in proze za literarne večere, tolmačenje pogovorov s slovenskimi pisatelji in prevajanje filmskih podnapisov. Pozornost je posvečena težavam, s katerimi se sooča študent pri prevajanju, in vprašanju, kaj prevajanje študentu prinese. Prispevek se ukvarja tudi z vprašanjem, ali nameniti študentskemu prevajanju med poukom slovenščine več prostora.

Abstract

This article focuses on the impact of translating on learning Slovenian as a foreign language and exploring Slovenian culture and literature. It discusses selected personal experiences of translating from Slovenian into Czech. Translations of poetry and prose for literary evenings, interpreting interviews with Slovenian writers, and translating film subtitles are mentioned. Attention is paid to the problems students face when translating and what translation brings to students. The article also deals with the idea of giving more space to student translation in teaching Slovenian.
