In my thesis, I attempt to apply and justify the phrase perversity of the image through several examples
from art history, broader society, and my own work. I write about what this concept brings along with
it and about my relationship to it as an individual and artist. The work is intended as an extension of
my practice, a kind of journal, with occasional humorous inserts and addresses to the reader, with the
aim of more directly representing my own position.
