The thesis focuses on the description of a web application developed to facilitate the management and review of the timetable at France Prešeren High School. In the past, timetable changes were made manually, information was conveyed verbally, and timetables were often available only in paper form.
The management component of the web application is used by timetable supervisors, while the review component is used by both teachers and students. The timetable management section provides a range of tools designed to make adjustments to the timetable easier and faster. For example, it can address issues such as teacher absences or school trips.
The application allows teachers and students to view their personal timetables, as well as the timetables of other teachers or classes, and to receive push notifications when the timetable is updated.
The web application is publicly accessible and is used by the majority of teachers and students at France Prešeren High School.
