The initiative for the redesigned website of the Ciril Kosmača Tolmin Library (CKTL) was launched as a result of a very poor and unsatisfactory design of the old CKTL website. Notably, the old CKTL website did provide its users with interactive content. This thesis aimed to assess the usability of the redesigned CKTL website using usability tests. The website was redesigned in 2015. The usability tests were based on five participants who performed eight different tasks to assert the effectiveness and efficiency of the website. They also provided feedback by answering usability questionnaires which measured different aspects of their satisfaction with the CKTL website. The results showed that the CKTL website is effective and that the users were satisfied with the content of the website. Nevertheless, certain aspects of the website were identified which would need to be revised and/or redesigned in the future. In particular, it would be necessary to shorten the home page and redistribute some of the elements on it slightly.
