In my thesis, I focused on the structural analysis of the wooden roof structure of an abandoned agricultural building, with the aim of assessing its safety against collapse and safety for users. The structural model of the roof structure was created using the SAP2000 software. This was followed by an analysis of loads and their combinations for the ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state, according to relevant standards and regulations. The analysis did not include the dynamic effects of an earthquake. The ultimate limit state of the structure was not exceeded, as the stresses in individual elements of the roof truss were within permissible limits. However, the serviceability limit state is critical, as deflections were found to be excessive. Based on the results obtained, I recommended replacing the worn wooden elements, including rafters, as well as the removal and replacement of decayed parts. These measures would ensure the long-term durability and safety of the structure.
