The thesis presents the synthesis of organoruthenium coordination compounds, in which, in addition to the bidentately bonded pyrthionic analogue, a monodentate ligand triphenylarsine or pta is attached to the metal center.
First, pyrithione ligands were synthesized, then these ligands were used to prepare the coordination compounds. The complexes were purified by column chromatography. The synthesized pyrithiones were characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and the ruthenium complexes were characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), infrared spectroscopy (IR), UV-Vis spectroscopy and mass spectroscopy.
