Today, an increasing number of companies are facing pressure from consumers who demand high-quality products with high value, while also expecting competitive, primarily low prices. Fluctuations in demand and the need to meet various consumer requirements are forcing companies to optimize their production processes.
In this thesis, the implementation process of the kanban system was analyzed through a theoretically designed assembly line, where the results showed that proper system implementation significantly increases production efficiency and improves responsiveness to demand. The analysis of industry case studies confirmed that companies that successfully implement the kanban system achieve better competitiveness in the market. It was concluded that kanban is an effective tool for optimizing production processes, especially in environments where responsiveness, product quality, and cost efficiency are crucial.
