The purpose of the diploma project was to develop and construct a prototype of a clothes wardrobe with special features that will allow drying, refreshing and disinfecting the items or clothes inside the wardrobe, and this will reduce the need for washing. The drying and disinfecting wardrobe was part of the Ozon3 project, in which the companies Alples, Industry of Furniture, d.d. Železniki and Domel d.o.o. participated. We carried out a review of competitive products from wardrobe furniture manufacturers with additional drying and disinfecting functions for clothes and a review of the related standards and materials. SolidWorks software was used to design and produce the
technical documentation, which allows faster design, improved material yields and easy creation of visual content. The development was based on knowledge of ergonomics and compliance with the relevant standards. The first prototype of the drying and disinfecting cabinet was produced by Alples, Industry of Furniture, d.d. from Železniki.
