The master’s thesis is based on the idea of raising awareness and encouraging the full potential of the Automotodrom Grobnik, the largest and highest-rated track in the former Yugoslavia, which would significantly contribute to the development of the local and national economy. Due to the strong environmental stigma, research into the history of motor racing, its connection with architecture, and an examination of the sport's environmental footprint followed. The goal of the project is to raise awareness of the spatial potential of the Grobnik Automotodrom, to regenerate the degraded landscape, to create a multi-purpose, sustainably designed building, and to create an environmentally acceptable recognition through an architectural intervention in an impersonal space and to complement the program and the entire sporting image of Grobnik in the best possible way.
