In the master's thesis, we performed an analysis of the geometric accuracy of point clouds obtained with
a remote-controlled aircraft equipped with a lidar data acquisition system. The analysis was carried out
according to the recommendations of the ASPRS (American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote
Sensing) standard: "ASPRS Positional Accuracy Standards for Geospatial Data". In the practical test,
we used three lidar systems: DJI Zenmuse L1, DJI Zenmuse L2 and RIEGL miniVUX-2UAV. The goal
of the task was to determine the absolute accuracy and relative precision of the acquired point clouds of
the entire considered area as well as the point clouds in the individual strip. In the task, we also tested
different types of targets as control and check points. All sensors were found to achieve accuracies
within the frames specified by the manufacturers. We have also shown the importance of control points
for the height accuracy of the point clouds.
