This work presents the development and implementation of a control panel for the tracking of indicators of a company’s sustainable business strategy, built in the real environment with a company of about one hundred employees and partly internally developed technological infrastructure. The control panel was created for a representative group of indicators with a focus on vertical development of database connections, data processing, graphical interface construction and implementation of additional functionalities. The graphical interface was built using Microsoft Power BI, where the PowerQuery M and DAX were used for querying and data processing.
The technical implementation of the project is documented, after which I give my recommendations for further development and generally making large changes to the use of existing data for the internal support of business decisions. I find that the impact of tools themselves on the viability of such a project is lesser than the quality and shape of input data, which should be designed with their intended end use in mind.
