Abstract
Avtorica v magistrskem delu raziskuje razmerje mladih do hrane, pri čemer posebno pozornost namenja presečišču digitalizacije in dediščine. S pomočjo intervjujev, opazovanja z udeležbo in digitalne etnografije preučuje vpliv družbenih medijev na odločanje o hrani. Kot pomembnega prepoznava preplet delovanja tokov globalizacije in digitalizacije ter s tem vlogo ustvarjalcev vsebin pri oblikovanju odnosa mladih do prehranske dediščine. Avtorica se nadalje poglobi v analizo načinov pridobivanja in prenašanja znanja o hrani. Pri tem izpostavlja pomen krmarjenja med vrednotami dediščine in priročnostjo digitalnih tehnologij za mlade. V tretjem poglavju raziskuje vpliv družbenih omrežij na izražanje in spreminjanje okusov ter ugotavlja, kateri dejavniki temu botrujejo. Znotraj tega izpostavlja pomen dediščine, ki ga povezuje tudi s pojmom doma, na podlagi tega pa prepoznava iskanje specifičnih okusov, njihovo poustvarjanje skozi osebne interpretacije in hibridizacije kot edinstvene procese dediščinjenja.

Title:The future and the past on a plate: The relationship of young people with food on the crossroads of digitalization and heritage
Abstract:
In this master’s thesis, the author explores the relationship between youth and food, with special attention placed on the intersection of digitalization and heritage. Through interviews, participant observation, and digital ethnography, she examines the influence of social media on food decision-making. She recognizes the importance of the dynamics of globalization and digitalization, highlighting the role of content creators in shaping young people's attitudes toward food heritage. The author analyses the different ways of acquiring and transmitting knowledge about food. In this context, she emphasizes the importance of navigating between the values of heritage and the convenience of digital technologies. In the third chapter, she explores the impact of social media on the expression and transformation of tastes, identifying the contributing factors in this process. Furthermore, she highlights the significance of heritage, connecting it to the concept of home, and based on this, she recognizes the search for specific tastes, their recreation through personal interpretations, and hybridizations as unique processes of heritagization.
