The master's thesis is roughly divided into two sections. The first part describes road transport, technological processes of transport, storage and all information regarding the safe transport of dangerous goods. In the second part, I researched a model of a spill of an aqueous solution containing ammonia and the dangerous scenarios that can arise. In the work, I studied the flow of ammonia evaporation and the influence of external factors such as wind speed, air temperature, humidity and atmospheric stability on the negative consequences of an accident. In the modeling process, I chose the possibility of calculating the cloud of dangerous gases and the limit value AEGL, the flammability zone LEL and the explosion zone BLEVE. The results of the modeling of the ammonia spill showed that the spill would have serious consequences for people in the immediate vicinity of the accident, and that the spill would be more dangerous at night and would have greater negative consequences for the wider environment.
