The thesis presents the integration of the InfluxDB database and the Java
framework Quarkus into a unique development framework. It describes the
advantages, disadvantages and comparison of both technologies and shows
shared use of them. Integration is aimed to develop Java applications that
require access, analysis, or data insertion into a time series database. The aim
of the thesis is a detailed presentation of both technologies and demonstration
of a practical example with the presentation of the solution. The solution is
a Java application, which is used to query into the database. The task also
addresses best practices in application development and problem solving. In
the thesis, the key advantages of integration are highligted, such as efficiency,
scalability and flexibility. The thesis presents an analysis of the solution and
it’s findings.
