Early education of young people about climate change and its consequences can significantly promote responsible behavior in adulthood, thus contributing in the long term to addressing the issue. With a good understanding of the causes and effects of climate change, children will develop a sense of personal responsibility that will guide them in making informed decisions. The purpose of the master’s thesis is, therefore, to inform young people about climate change, activate them, and promote good habits for the benefit of the planet. This is to be achieved by using short animated educational films, which can also serve in the educational process. Animated films are a suitable format for this purpose since they can present a complex and abstract concept, such as climate change, in a simple and illustrative manner. The combination of visual and auditory information makes the content more vivid, memorable, and easier to understand.
