In my diploma thesis titled Narrative between photography and film, I will research a narrative in
photography with a specific focus on its application in photo books. The aim of my work is to
investigate the tools used in constructing narratives, their role in storytelling, and to examine the
relationship between narrative in photo books and narrative elements in film. I will be researching
narrative in static, dynamic images and narrative in spaces, such as exhibition spaces and various
types of installations. To conduct this research, I will rely on relevant literature that addresses the
context and narrative in photography, as well as the works of photographers and visual artists who
have successfully utilized the book format to present their stories. I will conclude my research
study with a project that I have developed as a personal diary of my quest for thesis topic. The
project delves into the brevity and absurdity of life, departures, arrivals and the eternity of the
moment. Though asking questions and providing answers, the project forms a cyclical narrative. It
incorporates elements that I will also explore in my written work, such as text, appropriation of
archival content and montage
