In our master's thesis, we investigated how elastic segments in brakes and retaining forces in brakes affect the deformation of stator segments and how we can influence them. We conducted this research using a progressive stamping tool for deformation punching. We created specialized gauges to measure impression forces in the brakes. We have introduced a measurement method for measuring the impression forces of calibers in brakes and determined the best way to measure the shrinkage of stator segments. We measured the impression forces and deformations using the measurement method mentioned before. We then compared the impression forces with the deformations, taking into account the lengths of the interlocking clips. Based on the results of the regression analysis, we have determined the combinations of parameters that achieve the minimum package shrinkage. These parameters include the adjustment of elastic segments in the brakes and the length of the interlocking clips.
