Abstract
V diplomskem delu sta opisana načrtovanje in izvedba avtomatizacije stanovanjske hiše. Projekt smo izvedli v podjetju Avtoma, d. o. o., ki se ukvarja z avtomatizacijo objektov. Projekt je bil izveden s pomočjo uporabe krmilne in programske opreme Siemens. V avtomatizacijo objekta smo vključili nadzor in regulacijo ogrevanja, prezračevanja in hlajenja. Uporabnik sistema ima možnost upravljanja in spremljanja stanja naprav preko nadzornega sistema SCADA, ki omogoča grafični prikaz procesov ter tudi nastavljanje parametrov preko uporabniškega vmesnika. Najpomembnejši atribut v takem sistemu je zanesljivost. Osebe, ki stanujejo v tovrstnih objektih, morajo biti prepričane, da se bodo avtomatske funkcije izvajale brezhibno, kar je tudi pogoj za doseganje želenih notranjih pogojev.

Title:Automation of a HVAC system for domestic building using PLC
Abstract:
The thesis describes the planning and implementation of home automation. The project was carried out at Avtoma d.o.o., a company specializing in building automation. The project was implemented using Siemens control and software tools. We integrated the control and regulation of heating, ventilation and cooling within the building automation system. The user has the ability to operate and monitor the devices status through the SCADA system (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), which controls the whole system and provides the user with a graphical display of processes and has the ability to adjust parameters through the user interface. The most crucial attribute for this kind of system is reliability. Individuals residing in such a facility must be assured that automatic functions will operate flawlessly, which is a prerequisite for achieving the desired indoor conditions.
