Social media have entirely transformed the understanding of privacy and created a new profession - online influencers. This work focuses on "mom influencers" and how much they reveal their private lives on Instagram. It investigates whether their Instagram persona differs from who they are in real life and whether they present themselves and their lives through the prism of perfection or reality. This will be examined by using a qualitative method, specifically by observing the Instagram profiles of five Slovenian influencers and semi-structured interviews. Fifteen questions were posed to the influencers. Based on the observation of their profiles and their responses, it was found that most influencers have no issues with disclosing their private lives. However, they are cautious to reveal only what they desire and what aligns with their values and norms. There is a distinction between displaying personal life in more relaxed stories and presenting it on the timeline, which is usually more official. Mom influencers claim to be the same online as in real life. It was determined that posts are mostly planned and deliberate, with spontaneity being rare, although they do, to some extent, engage in realstagram. The private and public boundaries on Instagram are thin but still deliberate.
